At Automation Hut (“we”, “us”, or “our”), we respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our website, products, and services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.

Plain-English version: we only collect what we need to run the Services, improve them, and talk to you when you ask us to. No shady data selling.

1) Information We Collect

  • Account & Contact Information: name, email, phone, company, role, and anything you submit via forms or bookings.
  • Business Data You Provide: workflow details, integration preferences, and content you upload or connect for automation work.
  • Usage & Device Data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages visited, referring URLs, and timestamps.
  • Cookies & Similar Tech: pixels, local storage, and analytics identifiers for performance, security, and personalization.
  • Support & Communications: messages, tickets, survey responses, and call/meeting notes where applicable.
  • Third‑Party Sources: if you connect third‑party tools (e.g., scheduling, CRM, or analytics), we may receive limited data needed to deliver the Services.

2) How We Use Information

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Services.
  • Configure automations and integrations per your instructions.
  • Improve performance, security, and user experience.
  • Communicate with you about projects, updates, and support.
  • Analyze aggregate usage to guide product decisions.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce terms.
  • Marketing (opt‑in only): newsletters, case studies, and offers you can unsubscribe from anytime.

3) Sharing & Processors

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Service Providers/Processors: hosting, analytics, communications, payment processing, error monitoring, and security vendors—bound by confidentiality and data‑processing terms.
  • Integration Partners (at your direction): if you ask us to connect third‑party platforms, we’ll share only what’s required to make the integration work.
  • Legal & Safety: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect rights, property, or safety of us, you, or others.
  • Business Transfers: in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may transfer as part of the transaction.

4) Data Security

We use reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to minimize risk and respond quickly to issues.

5) Data Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as needed to provide the Services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize data subject to applicable law and our backup cycles.

6) Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests or withdraw consent where we rely on consent.

  • California / U.S. State Privacy: Residents of certain U.S. states (e.g., CA, CO, CT, UT, VA) may have additional rights, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of targeted advertising or certain data sharing. We do not sell your data.
  • EEA/UK/Swiss (GDPR): Where GDPR applies, our legal bases include performance of a contract, legitimate interests (e.g., securing and improving the Services), compliance with legal obligations, and consent for specific activities. You can request our data processing details at any time.

How to submit a request: Email [email protected] with the subject line “Privacy Request,” and tell us what you’d like to do (access, delete, etc.). We’ll verify your identity before acting.

7) Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site secure, remember preferences, measure performance, and understand how the Services are used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not function if certain cookies are disabled.

8) AI & Automated Decision‑Making

Our Services may use AI‑assisted features to analyze patterns, generate content drafts, or automate tasks under your direction. We do not use AI to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you without human review. Inputs you supply to AI features are handled according to this Policy and any applicable processor terms.

9) Children’s Privacy

The Services are not intended for children under 13 (or the equivalent age where you live). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we’ll take appropriate steps to delete it.

10) International Data Transfers

We may process and store information in countries outside your own. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect data during transfer.

11) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We’ll change the “Last Updated” date at the top and, when appropriate, notify you through the Services or by email. Your continued use means you accept the updated Policy.
